Zoning Permits

Zoning Permits are required for a variety of home improvements, including fences, additions, and remodeling. Zoning approval from Grantwood before applying to STL County.  The application can be found here: Zoning-Permit-Application Updated-6-2025

The permit application fee is $25.00.  Payments can be made by check, money order or PayPal.  To use PayPal there is a small fee of $1.41, total amount will be $26.41.

 

Once the application has been approved the Zoning Permit Fee will be figured based on the size of the project.  Currently that fee may be paid by Check, Money order, or PayPal with a Credit Card.  Email trustees@grantwood.gov if using PayPal so we can calculate the added PayPal service fee.

Excavation Permit

Excavation Permits are required.   The application can be found here: Grantwood Village Excavation Permit Application

The permit fee is $600.  Payments can be made by check, money order or PayPal.  To use PayPal there is a $22.20 fee, total amount will be $622.20.

License  Fees

Business Licenses are due for all companies working within the Village.  The fee for the Business License is $50.00 and is good from January-December.  Along with the $50.00 fee, a current Certificate of Insurance and completed application must be submitted.

Business Licenses (must be completed annually)

To complete the process online follow these steps:

          • Complete the application & provide your Certificate of Insurance. You can Submit via the documents below, email it, or mail it in.  Business License Application 2026
          • The fee for the business license is $50.00.  Payments can be made by Check or Money Order or by Credit Card through the PayPal link below. Mail or drop off checks/money orders at:

            Grantwood Village, MO 63123

        Once all three items have been received you will receive your business license by email or if no email is available a hard copy will be mailed to the address you provide.

         

      • Please note to use PayPal, there is an additional $2.32 fee
